We highlight a few example applications that were realized with the use of CLARIN resources and tools.
Textual Emigration Analysis
Using Wikipedia and other other text corpora, it becomes possible to identify the movements from migrants between countries. For this, textual references to the city of birth or death, relocations, the migrants' activities has been tracked.

How to align transcripts with speech signals? Use WebMaus! Just upload your transcript and your audio file, the tool will compute an aligned compound, which can be subsequently post-processed using phonetic software such as Praat.
