Overview
Do you need support to find, analyse, describe, or archive research data? The research-oriented infrastructure CLARIN-D for the Humanities and Social Sciences can help you with all language-related resources. The CLARIN-D centres cover a wide range of expertise ranging from syntactically annotated text corpora to psycholinguistic experiments, from historical texts to lexical resources, from speech databases to highly interoperable speech technology tools and web-based services for language and speech processing, and more. CLARIN-D helps you to find and access a wide range of data and tools as well as expertise from fellow scientists. CLARIN-D also assists you in devising data management plans that help you manage the full life cycle of your research data. This includes dealing with ethical and legal questions as well as securing the long-term archiving of your data.
CLARIN-D Infrastructure
CLARIN-D is a digital infrastructure for language and speech resources for the Humanities and Social Sciences, and it is here to stay. The CLARIN-D expertise is built on a network of specialist institutes of international repute.
CLARIN-D is user-centred: it provides Humanities and Social Sciences scholars with standardised resources and technologies, so that they can focus on answering research questions rather than having to cope with complex technological detail. CLARIN-D fosters the propagation of resources and tools so that fellow scientists can profit from prior research more easily.
Your research results can be integrated into CLARIN-D as a new resource and thus be provided for further research.
The backbone of the CLARIN-D infrastructure is a network of interconnected complementary centers. Those centres are characterized by high levels of competence and an international reputation.
